Booking, Rates & Changes
Do you offer multi day booking?
We offer 1 day, multi day and multi week bookings. The longer you book, the more discount you get
Can I cancel or modify my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel or modify your reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time without any additional fees. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more details.
Do I need to create an account to rent a trailer?
No, you can rent directly online. All forms are sent via email and SMS, so you can complete everything right from your phone.
How do I check rates and open dates?
Every trailer shows its live daily rate and open dates in the online booking calendar, both on its own page and on the All Trailers page. Multi-day and multi-week discounts apply automatically at booking.
Pickup & Return
Can I pick up a rental on the same day?
Yes, most trailers are ready for pickup within 30 minutes.
What’s the process for picking up my trailer?
We operate a contactless system. All pickup instructions are sent to your phone via text.
Where can I find your trailers?
All trailers are stored in secure facilities in 320 WOODLAND EST, Irvine KY 40336
What are your hours?
We are open 7 am to 8 pm. Booking is online, so you can reserve a trailer at any time and pick it up at your scheduled time.
Towing, Hitches & Requirements
Will my vehicle be able to tow the trailer?
Most modern 1/4 ton trucks are capable of towing around 10,000 pounds and all of our units are under that weight. You have to factor in the weight of your load aside from the weight of the trailer and confirm the towing capacity for your truck. We can help you figure out exactly what you can tow when booking
What hitch setup do your trailers need?
All three trailers have an adjustable 2 5/16 inch coupler, so you need a 2 5/16 inch ball. Every trailer also has braked axles. Not sure your truck is set up for it? Ask when you book and we will help you check.
Is a special license required to tow a trailer?
No special licenses are required for personal use.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, your automobile insurance should cover anything you tow. You would need to confirm with them before taking delivery.

Which trailers does Central KY Trailer Rentals rent?
A 7'x16' enclosed trailer, a 5'x10' dump trailer, and a 20'x8.5' car hauler. Each has its own page with specs, photos, and live booking.
How much headroom does the enclosed trailer have?
The 7'x16' enclosed trailer has 7 feet of interior height and a 78 inch wide rear opening, with a ramp door extension flap, LED loading lights, and four 5,000 lb D-ring tie downs.
Does the car hauler have a winch?
Yes. The 20'x8.5' car hauler carries a Warrior 12k winch, plus a 2 foot dovetail, 5 foot pull-out ramps, stabilizer jacks, drive-over fenders, 6 D rings, stake pockets, and a rub rail.
Can I cover a load in the dump trailer?
Yes. The 5'x10' dump trailer has a pull-back tarp, along with 5 foot slide-in ramps and a side swing rear gate.
